Dr. Danova brings more than 25 years of veterinary surgical experience to referring hospitals. She founded Veterinary Surgical Options to give hospitals direct access to on-site surgical support, so patients stay with the team that already knows them.

Orthopedic Surgery

A primary focus of Dr. Danova’s practice and published research. Involving diagnosis, non-surgical and surgical treatment including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves.

Soft Tissue Surgery

Thoracic; cardiovascular, abdominal; hepatobiliary, vascular, adrenalectomy, urogenital, etc.

Mass Removals

Cutaneous, subcutaneous, and select internal mass excisions, from routine lipomas to oncologic resections requiring clean margins.

Cranial Cruciate Disease

Tibial plateau leveling osteotomy or extracapsular stabilization. Patella luxation stabilization. Treatment of Hip Dysplasia and hip diseases.

Wound Repair & Reconstruction

Complicated wound management and reconstruction.

Your team submits a brief case overview through the contact form. After records and diagnostics are reviewed together, surgery is scheduled at your hospital on a mutually agreed date.

Pre-op diagnostic recommendations depend on the procedure and patient. Specific requirements are confirmed during case review so your team can prepare in advance.

On-site at the referring partner hospital, using your facility’s surgical suite and team. Equipment and supply needs are confirmed ahead of the appointment.

Written post-op instructions and a case summary are provided to the referring team. Recheck visits and ongoing care stay with the referring hospital.

Veterinary Surgical Options is a scheduled referral service and does not provide emergency or after-hours coverage. Urgent post-op concerns should be directed to the referring hospital or a local emergency hospital.
